Privacy Notice: Contact Us

The "contact us" form at www.bsamuseum.org/contact requires users to submit their name and e-mail address to send a message to the museum staff. Information collected via this interface will be used only for two reasons:

1. To respond to the user in reference to the message that was sent via the interface.
2. To send the user news and updates pertaining to the museum — only if the checkbox indicating the user's interest in receiving that information was selected.

This information is used only by the Boy Scouts of America and is not shared with any other party.

Removal Instructions

If you wish to discontinue receiving these mailings, use the contact form to send the message "please remove my e-mail address from your mailing list."

COPPA Complaince

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act prohibits collecting or sending material via the internet to children under 13 years of age. The "contact us" form therefore reqeusts the user's age and will not transmit any message from a sender who is 13 or under, nor will such users be added to our mailing list for future mailings.

Alternate Means of Contact

Children under 13 or adults who do not wish to provide their e-mail address over the Internet may contact the museum via postal mail or telephone:
